About CCA MFA Design
The MFA Design program at California College of the Arts is an open site for investigation, hands-on making, and speculative design. Immersed in an inspiring environment that values cross-disciplinary research and collaboration, the program encourages students to explore new frontiers of design with cutting-edge tools and trational craft-based techniques. Thesis Studio concludes the curriculum for the Graduate Program in Design. It takes thesis research and continues to develop and test thesis ideas and design strategies, culminating in the production of MFA in Design Thesis Projects.
My Why
Self-identifying as a maker, this program felt like the next step in my design journey, which would enhance my problem solving skills and emmerse me in a world of creating.
