About Teri Tom

Teri Tom is a registered dietitian specializing in sports nutrition. Tom graduated summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa from UCLA, holds a master’s degree in nutritional science from California State University Los Angeles, and completed her clinical dietetic rotations at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. Her clientele has included boxing champs Manny Pacquiao and Mikey Garcia, UFC champion Andrei Arlovski, and the NBA’s Byron Scott. A serious health and exercise expert, Tom is passionate about food as electricity powering the body.

My Why

My first degree was in Nutrition. My love of nutrition science and personal well-being helped me empathize with Teri’s mission from the start.

Build an energetic identity system.

Visualizing a vibe.

From all the stars in the universe, to the smallest molecules in our bodies, Teri believes all roads lead to electricity. She brings an element of spiritual energy and healing to her nutrition and exercise practice. Her background in Martial Arts also influences her methodology.

Lightning strikes.

Because of our common connection to nutrition and sports, Teri and I built a strong working relationship. Each round of feedback was clearly communicated and iterations were made accordingly.

We landed on a darker color story, representing space and astronomy. The darker blues and purples on white created a nice contrast and made the logo and other design elements pop.

Along with a website, I worked with Teri to design an infographic, Ten Day Detox layout, and iconography for the site.

All systems go.

Teri’s visual identity was a joy to create. Now she has a clear mission statement, website, and branded content to grow her business. Visit the site.
