  • Spearheaded SCC Makerspace’s transition from external to internal funding by securing stakeholder buy-in and establishing a sustainable business model.
  • Facilitated the expansion of SCC Makerspace from 2,000 to 7,000 square feet.
  • Led the product development of an innovative VR application collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Drove product strategy, branding, and social media growth of over 600 Instagram followers in six weeks.
  • Scaled Solar Education Project from 200 to over 2,000 member sign-ups through content creation and targeted outreach.
  • Featured in a Citizen Schools article by Meredith Adamczyk titled “Bringing Communities Together: How Maker Fellows Create a Resounding Impact Locally and Globally.”


Founding Member and Creative Director

Makerspace, Sacramento City College | Aug. 2017–May 2020

  • Secured over $700K in funding to design and build SCC Makerspace over two years, driving stakeholder buy-in and long-term growth.
  • Attracted over 500 student and faculty members within two weeks post-launch.
  • Developed the innovative Maker-Mattic internship model, transforming traditional internships by fostering collaboration and creativity, while providing fresh business insights for industry leaders.
  • Envisioned and executed a hands-on educational model that enhanced the institution-to-industry pipeline through prototyping, play, and experimentation.
  • Led UX design for online member sign-ups and product design for Shop Pass, an application to track training on machines and software.
  • Directed physical experience design, interior layout, and blueprint planning for the Makerspace, integrating technology and creativity.
  • Orchestrated strategic marketing campaigns across print, web, and social media to promote innovation, entrepreneurship, and design.
